1st Pipe fitters

Activities:

As a 1st pipe fitter, you use isometric drawings and work or customer assignments to carry out work for new construction and/or service projects primarily in the energy sector, the gas industry and petrochemicals. You maintain contact with the customer and ensure assignments are executed expertly and on time. As 1st pipe fitter, you are responsible for carrying out prefab and assembly work on piping systems. You can measure up, construct and assemble pipework on-site. You handle and assemble pipework, in large and small diameters, of various types of material (stainless steel, duplex and carbon steel).

Job requirements:

You posses at least a Basic SCC and have driving licence B, and have experience as a 1st pipe fitter in a similar setting. Further you are competent in terms of communication, and are customer and service oriented, meticulous, flexible and reliable (you work as per agreements). An educational background in mechanical engineering is required. Possessing the following valid certificates is an advantage: ‘Moving loads’ (SOG), ‘Working on flange connections as per protocol’ (SOG), and ‘Working with autonomous respiratory equipment’ (SOG). A further requirement is that you speak German and/or English and that you can make yourself clearly understood to our customers.
